Held on the 31st of August, the SMCA–ABSOC conference was an inspiring and uplifting event.
Organised by the youth, the quality of the program and the passion, enthusiasm, and effort demonstrated by the young organisers gives us great hope that the community’s future is in capable hands.
Over 150 youth from several universities across NSW came together to engage with the theme of setting the highest goals in academia and in their careers — both for themselves and for the community.
The speeches from scholars, corporate leaders and academics emphasised the message that success in study and career goes hand in hand with a firm adherence to faith.
The youth were also challenged to develop solutions to the challenges Australian society faces, drawing inspiration from the timeless tradition of the Ahl al-Bayt (a).
